درباره دانشگاه:
دانشگاه UWE در سال 1992 در شهر بریستول تاسیس شده است. به صورت مشابه با دانشگاه Bristol و دانشگاه Bath می توان ریشه آن را در کالج فنی Merchant Venturers ، که به عنوان یک مدرسه در سال 1595 توسط انجمن بازرگانان تاسیس شده جستجو کرد.
